Friendship. Fun. Support.
The East Greenwich-Cowesett New Neighbors (EGCNN) was founded in 1974 as a non-profit social club. The EGCNN is a primarily women’s organization whose purpose is to aid residents who would like to foster new friendships and become more acquainted with the community. Group, family and couples’ events and activities are offered throughout the year. These may include Children’s Playgroup, Community Outreach, Girls Night Out, Walking Group, Chick Flicks Movie Night, Lunch Bunch and Wine Enthusiasts.
Each year we number more than 200 families from all over the U.S. and around the world. Membership is open to all new residents of East Greenwich and Cowesett.
General meetings provide a social gathering for the opportunity to learn about our activities and meet other club members.
Meetings are typically held on the second Wednesday of each month from September through June, either in the morning (9:30 a.m.) or evening (7:00 p.m.), at the East Greenwich United Methodist Church, located at 1558 South County Trail in East Greenwich. Babysitting is available for all daytime meetings.
We try to schedule activities on different days and at different times to accommodate the variety of schedules of our members. We also don’t keep all of the fun to ourselves – many activities include kids, spouses and families.
All activities will be included in the monthly newsletter and calendar that gets emailed to all members.
Please check out the EGCNN website www.egcnn.org for updated information regarding membership, monthly meeting dates/times, event agendas and descriptions of our activities.
Membership is open to all residents of the East Greenwich and Cowesett areas. For more information you may email email@example.com.
